In her day Bibi was widely recognised as the best Appaloosa mare in the Country.  In her short showing career she was National Champion Appaloosa four times frequently beating stallions.  Always a winner and Champion when shown at National and County level. Winner in-hand, riding horse, hunter and working hunter classes.  At British Nations Cup Hickstead 1992, she was champion in front of the renowned Klaus and seven other stallions.  See News section for old newspaper cuttings.   She was retired from the show ring by her previous owner at 8 yrs of age to become a brood mare.

Bibi bred a delightful filly in 2001 by Dance with Wolves,  Tresaison Sahiba, who has won or been placed top 3 every time out and was overall SUPREME CHAMPION at the 2003 NATIONAL APPALOOSA SHOW as a 2 yr old.  Her full brother (2003) Tresaison Lone Wolf, a bay blanket spotted gelding, has recently been sold to a showing and dressage home where we know he will be outstanding.  We have retained this only daughter as a performance prospect/brood mare.

Bibi’s  2005 colt by Dance With Wolves,  a black based blanket spot, has been sold to a showing and dressage home where he will be retained as colt and will stand at stud in due course, as will her 2006 colt Davinci.

Bibi foaled a stunning black blanket filly in spring 2007 which will be retained by us to continue her bloodline.

Lizzie is only small, standing only about 15hh, but she always throws very big foals being out of a 16.3hh TB herself!   She is a Champion in her own right and has many champion offspring, Amazing Rainbeau and Mannog April Blues being two of them.  Her latest achievement after a show ring gap of many years was winning the Broodmare class at the 2004 BApS National Show at the age of 19.  She constantly throws top quality from a variety of stallions.

Had surprise colt foal by  Dance With Wolves  July 25th 2005 and foaled another exquisite colt by  Dance With Wolves in 2007. Lizzie has now gone to Laura Baird at Chamfron Stud in Scotland.

The sire of this mare needs no introduction, the famous Klaus, 12 times National Appaloosa Champion. ‘Fluff’ carries on a lot of his qualities and passes them very strongly on to her offspring.

Her son ‘LJ Prince of Thieves’ passed the BApS stallion assessment at 2 yrs of age with an ‘excellent’ mark in every category and is now BE Eventing at Intermediate level.  ‘Fluff’ herself has always been placed when shown.  She has had 7 foals so far, all by Dances With Wolves, and all of outstanding quality.

Hellovalass attended the 2006 KNN Knabstrupper grading, and was graded with a 7 overall from both the Classic and Sport Horse judges, and was awarded an 8 for type and body from the Sport Horse judges.  The judges commented on her quality and noble breeding and her excellent suitability as a broodmare.

In foal to  Nobody’s Harlequin for a 2008 foal.

Rozel Bay is a retired racehorse, having raced on the flat and over hurdles. She has a very willing temperament and passes on her refined looks and athleticism to her foals.

Her first offspring, a filly by Dance With Wolves was FEMALE CHAMPION at the 2003 NATIONAL APPALOOSA SHOW the first time ever shown.   Her first Knabstrupper offspring, Tresaison Gracie was BEST MARE IN SHOW, and OVERALL BEST IN SHOW at the 2007 ENGLISH KNN KNABSTRUPPER GRADING.

Dana is an imported Danish Knabstrupper mare, born 2002 standing 169cm.  She has very good movement and conformation and is an excellent example of a modern Knabstrupper.   Her bloodlines include some of the most influential Knabstruppers in Denmark .   She is fully graded with the KNN.

Dana's sire, Xanthos,  is the renowned leopard spotted Knabstrupper stallion who sired Zanko,  a graded Knabstrupper stallion who won two gold medals at the 2004 Paralympics in Athens (see News page).

Dana had a black few spot filly born 13th April 2005 by the stunning Danish Knabstrupper ‘Xquisit Middelsom’ (KNN 144) which is being retained.   In 2006 she blessed us with an outstanding leopard colt by Nobody’s Harlequin,  who was much sought after and was sold within 3 weeks of being born! Dana foaled an equally stunning full brother, a fewspot colt in July 2007. This foal was awarded a PREMIUM at the KNN UK Grading in 2007 and described as a 'harmonious type'.  He has been sold to Australia and will be the first Knabstrupper stallion to stand there.

She is in foal to Nobody's Harlequin again for 2008 for, hopefully, another cracking foal!

Lambada is another imported Danish mare.  Born in 2000, Lambada was put forward for her grading with the KNN in Denmark in August 2004 where she achieved an 8 (First Premium).   She is a big mare, standing at 170cm.

She is another fine example of the modern Sports type Knabstrupper with a huge trot and tremendous elevation.  She will most likely be competed in dressage or eventing when she continues with her ridden career.

Although a solid brown, Lambada will always produced coloured offspring when bred to our resident Knabstrupper stallion Nobody’s Harlequin.   Her type, conformation and paces are the ideal compliment to his and she was bought with this purpose in mind.   Her 2006 colt has been sold to a home where he will be produced for dressage.

Another lovely fully graded and branded Danish Knabstrupper mare.  Yellow combines the Knabstrupper blood with Danish Warmblood making her an ideal type of Sport horse mare and a fantastic partner for our Knabstrupper stallion. Yellow  was purchased in foal and produced a superb quality 2005 bay near leopard filly, to make around 16.1-16.2hh (see 2005 foals page) by  Xantast Middelsom KNN126 - fully graded leopard Knabstrupper stallion standing 168cm.

Her 2004 filly by the same sire won best foal at the 2004 grading in Denmark

Her first foal by  Nobody’s Harlequin  did not disappoint - she foaled a huge, stunning fewspot colt on 6th April 2007.

Tilde is a whiteborn (few spot) graded and branded Knabstrupper mare and is homozygous for colour.  Awarded with Premium at her KNN grading, she is a fantastic stamp of mare with huge quality and presence and we are very lucky to have her among our herd.  She stands around 166cm.  All her offspring by different sires have been outstanding, two of which are currently also in the UK .

We are unusually combining the Appaloosa and Knabstrupper with Tildes first foal with us,  as her type is such a good match for our senior stallion  Dance With Wolves, and the 2006 covering resulted in a handsome fewspot colt being born in April 2007.

Tilde  is a white born (fewspot) Knabstrupper mare by Don Ibrahim (KNN 92).  She graded with an '8' overall at her KNN grading.

She is a fantastic stamp of mare with huge quality and presence and we are very lucky to have her among our herd.  She stands around 166cm.  All her offspring by different sires have been outstanding, two of which are currently also in the UK .

Tilde had a very handsome fewspot colt in April 2007 by Dance With Wolves .  This 2007 foal is for sale.

This 2008 foal will be eagerly awaited, and is guaranteed to exhibit some form of spotted coat pattern, and is destined to be an outstanding athletic sport horse with excellent movement.

Quality fewspot mare as proved by her virtually unheard of foal score of 95 % with the ZfDP in Germany - with a perfect 10 for (amongst others) movement.  She was also awarded a PREMIUM and Gold Award as well as winning the mares class at the first UK ECHA grading in September 2007.  She will be KNN graded in 2008.

Massive paces, superb temperament, beautiful head and temperament and of course a guarantee of a spotted colour pattern from any of her offspring.

She breeds spotted competition horses of size and quality.  She herself is 163cm, and is pure bred being 75% Knabstrupper in the 3rd generation.

A perfect combination of the two main Knabstrupper Sporthorse lines in the second generation, with Apollon as maternal grandsire and Xanthos as paternal grandsire.

Foaled a quality fewspot colt by Sonny Boy  (ZfDP Stallion Book 1, Bay Leopard, 157cm) he is sure to be a Knabstrupper sport horse performance prospect, not only because Sonny Boy is by the renowned Knabstrupper sport horse Thunder Boy, but also because this foal has superb paces. This foal is for sale.

Angel is in foal to the fantastic Oldenburg stallion Rubin Star N (Rubinstein 1) due June 2008 and we excitedly await this foal!

We have owned Magic for several years and she has been a very successful racehorse.  She was never out of the first three whenever she  completed the race and her final race was winning the Hunt race at our local Pt to Pt. Apart from that she is very well put together and has lovely paces too.

Unlike the majority of our horses, Magic will be used to produce potential racehorses and will go to good TB stallions.

She is in foal for 2008 to Grape Tree Road - due April.
