 Knabstrupper x Appaloosa sports filly.

Sire: Marster Lynghoj Life Premium Graded KNN

Dam: Tresaison Didi  / Dance With Wolves PR/S/1154

Just look at this beauty!!!  Another lovely  filly from Didi expected to make around 17hh.   Exquisite filly with real 'wow' factor!  She is correct and athletic with real uphill and elevated paces inheriting the best points from both her gorgeous dam and sire!   Believed homozygous for the LP gene (the spotting gene).

This stunning filly is quickly becoming one of our favourites (it does help she's out of one of my favourite mares ;-)  )  She is cheeky as well as being extremely pretty. She certainly stands out and is another with fabulous paces.  She is tall, athletic and strong but also very feminine. Her limbs are all straight and she was so balanced from day one.

Her Dam, Didi, is full sister to our mares Appaloosa National Champion mare Tresaison Sahiba.  She stands at 17.1hh and is homebred by Dance With Wolves and out of Multi Champion and very well respected Appaloosa mare Bibi Sahiba.    She herself is a fabulous mover with huge length of stride and is a very sweet and easy mare.   Once Heatwave is weaned the plan is to bring Didi back into work.

She is sired by Premium Graded Knabstrupper stallion Marster Lynghoj whose bloodlines go back to some fabulous Knabstrupper and warmbloods including Ramiro,

She is sure to be a fabulous sports prospect as well as a super breeding mare as well should it be required.

She is eligible to be Graded KNN when she is old enough.

A bargain for a filly of this calibre £2,750 - to approved home only

17hh GRADE C APPALOOSA MARE

Centaur Elektra (2004)
Main Book Appaloosa Grade C

Centaur Jolly Jack

Rivaz Limerick

Centaur Elite

Centaur Extra

First Draft

Centaur Inkspot

Elektra is a consistent producer of top quality, tall offspring.  We have had 5 foals from her and all have been excellent, photos can be seen on our website.

Event bred registered Grade C Appaloosa mare, bay with spotted blanket, born 2004.  Bred by the famous Centaur Stud in Leicestershire, her bloodlines include many performance Appaloosas and top class hunters. Her sire, Centaur Jolly Jack (Rivaz Limerick out of a First Draft mare) is himself an Intermediate Eventer with over 40 BE points and has competed internationally, and is known for siring athletic sport horses.  She combines both of the Centaur foundation stallions in her pedigree First Draft and Rivaz Limerick and has a whole family of performance Appaloosas and top class hunters.

Elektra stands at 17hh. She is of excellent quality with good limbs, plenty of presence and a fantastically sweet nature.  She consistently throws outstanding, tall athletic foals.

Elektra was broken and ridden as a 5 year old but we have not ridden her and she is being sold as a brood mare, however she is sound and there is no reason why she could not return to work.  Sadly for sale as part of our reduction program, a valuable asset to any stud wanting to produce sports Apaloosas or could be re-backed for ridden work.

Tresaison Snow Angel - Sold

Foaled 10th April 2014 -  a bay based Snowcap / Fewspot Knabstrupper filly (Homozygous)

 Knabstrupper filly.  Main register KNN

Sire: Marster Lynghoj KNN 191 (Connetti Lynghoj / Ramiro)

Dam: Engel Vom Birkenhof KNN (Norkrons Harlequin /Xanthos/ Apollon)

This lovely big filly has quality and presence.  She is the first of our Marster foals and we couldn't be happier.  She has stunning elevation and loose athletic paces. Uphill and straight movement. Excellent top line and very correct conformation combined with a lovely friendly temperament.   An outstanding competition and / or breeding prospect.   To make approx 16.2hh.  She boasts some of the most influential sports Knabstruppers in her bloodlines - an enviable mix!

Her dam, Angel, is a top quality fewspot mare as proved by her virtually unheard of foal score of 95 % with the ZfDP in Germany - with a perfect 10 for (amongst others) movement.  She was also awarded a PREMIUM and Gold Award as well as winning the mares class at the first UK ECHA grading in September 2007.  Angel was awarded a PREMIUM yet again at her KNN grading September 2008 with an overall score of 8 in BOTH Sports and Classic sections and winning 'Best Mare' making her now a TRIPLE Premium Graded mare!  Massive paces, superb temperament, beautiful head and temperament and of course a guarantee of passing on the spotted gene to all of her offspring.

She is micro chipped, DNA tested and KNN passported.

Tresaison Manhattan - Sold

Foaled 19th June 2014 -  a chestnut filly

Knabstrupper filly (eligible for KNN grading and breeding)

Sire: Marster Lynghoj KNN 191

Dam: Tresaison Hannah (Nobody's Harlequin) Graded KNN mare

Beautiful, very tall filly expected to make around 16.2hh.   Well put together with athletic paces with real quality.  Another well bred filly who is sure to make a fabulous Sport prospect as well as a brood mare later on.  She has a lovely head and good conformation as would be expected.  What this young lady lacks in spots she certainly, without doubt, makes up for in quality.   This little girl can really move! She has also shown that she has an athletic jump already - clearing one of our Hunt jumps in style!!

Her dam, Hannah, was en route to a promising eventing career when sadly, injury caused an early end to serious ridden work. She herself has fabulous paces and is a lovely stamp of mare standing 16.2hh with good bone, fabulous shoulder and correct all over conformation.  We really rated Hannah as a foal and can see why we did now!  Hannah's dam line contains some very good performance horses, her dam was by Joli Wasfi (good TB eventing sire) and out of a Scallywag mare.  Several of her dams siblings went on to event successfully.

This filly must be a serious performance prospect either for dressage or eventing and will certainly hold her own in any company.

Hannah is a home bred mare.  She was sold as a weanling and with her new owner was presented to the KNN as a 3 yr old and graded as a KNN mare.  Having spent some time doing dressage and hunting she was then being produced as an eventer and showing great ability and potential when unfortunately injury cut short what was proving to be a promising career.  She has a lovely sweet temperament and fantastic flowing paces.

Hannah stands at a good 16.2hh, is well put together and a sport horse type of mare.  She is very easy to do and a good doer!

Hannah produced a stunning filly by Dance With Wolves in 2013 and another by Marster in 2014.

Sadly for sale due to our current stud reduction - contact us for details.

Hannah is IN FOAL to KNN Premium stallion Marster Lynghoj following the successful pairing of last year.

SOLD - Hannah will foal down here and then go to her new home shortly afterwards

Another lovely fully graded and branded Danish Knabstrupper mare.  Yellow combines the Knabstrupper blood with Danish Warmblood making her an ideal type of Sport horse mare and a fantastic partner for our Knabstrupper stallion. Yellow  was purchased in foal and produced a superb quality 2005 bay near leopard filly, to make around 16.1-16.2hh (see 2005 foals page) by  Xantast Middelsom KNN126 - fully graded leopard Knabstrupper stallion standing 168cm.

Her 2004 filly by the same sire won best foal at the 2004 grading in Denmark.  Her first foal by  Nobody’s Harlequin  did not disappoint - she foaled a huge, stunning fewspot colt on 6th April 2007 who is now standing at stud.

Yellow followed this with a succession of top quality offspring, some of which are now at riding age and it is lovely to see them out and about. her 2013 colt foal Harlem, was sold to South Africa and will stand at stud there, the first few spot KNN stallion to do so.   There are pictures of him on our News Pages.  Sadly her 2014 leopard colt was born with very windswept legs and other joint defects and so, after a few weeks of Veterinary care to no avail it was decided the best decision was to let him go.  She is in foal again to Marster for 2015 and will foal down in her new home up in the Scottish Isles.

Tresaison Raindancer

Foaled 26th May 2014 - Bay based near Leopard Appaloosa filly

Sire: Dance With Wolves PR/S/1154

Dam: Centaur Reindance (Centaur Jolly Jack x First Draft) Grade C

Very well put together with athletic paces and correct compact conformation.  This feminine and pretty, well bred filly is sure to make a fabulous Sport prospect as well as a brood mare later on.  Her Dam sire Jolly Jack is an Intermediate Eventer who has over 40 BE points and has competed Internationally and at 2* level.   This is the 4th full sibling as we are so happy with this combination and the quality it produces.

Her sire needs no introduction, his offspring are in high demand and this is the last but one available as he has just one registered mare in foal for 2015 (Elektra, Reindancers full sister) as he has now retired from Stud. He consistently throws top quality stock who have size, movement, conformation and temperament that is highly sought after.

This filly will be registered main book Appaloosa making her a valuable breeding prospect as well as having outstanding sports potential.

SOLD - to Switzerland

Possibly the last daughter of Dance With Wolves

Tresaison Le Bon

Foaled 26th May 2014 -  Leopard colt

Knabstrupper colt to mature around 16.2/16.3hh.

Sire: Legrande (Old) Graded Warmblood

Dam: Lupina Vom Kreidenfels KNN Graded

This is a superb colt with fabulous uphill fluid paces as well tremendous elevation.  He is full of presence, beautifully put together with correct limbs, a well set on neck and lovely head. A fantastic dressage and jumping prospect prospect.

His dam, Lupina v. Kreidefels  is a graded Knabstrupper mare, 100% pure bred, who carries some of the old and well respected Classical Knabstrupper bloodlines as well as the Sport types.  Her first foal, Tresaison Ricochet, a colt by Rubin Star N, is now a Graded stallion and had excellent marks in his assessment by the KNN and was awarded an 8 Premium Grade and overall Best Stallion.  All her offspring are beautiful, loudly coloured, good moving and correct by a variety of different sires.

His sire, Legrande, is the only licensed dilute (Buckskin, Palomino, Cremello or Perlino) warmblood stallion in the UK with British Show Jumping winnings, British Dressage points and who is also a Champion Show Horse. He is really stamping his foals not only with superb movement, correct conformation but they are all showing super level temperaments.

The pedigree of Legrande is full of internationally recognised names, his father Lefevre, a graded Holsteiner was a top international show jumping prospect until an unfortunate accident at home ended what looked to be a very promising career at the tender age of 5. His grandsire, Lombard, who in turn is by the legendary stallion Landgraf I, needs no introduction. He is a horse who is recognised as one of the foundation stallions of the Holsteiner dynasty, He is considered by many warmblood breeders across the globe to be one of, if not the, Stallion of the Century.  Of all the Ladykiller sons, Landgraf I was able to assert himself the best. At this time, he is the most successful sire of show jumpers the world has ever seen. He has produced 130 approved stallion sons, who are active in every breed association in Germany as well as many in Europe, along with those of the USA. His impact on warmblood breeding will be known for generations to come.  He is truly an important consideration in any pedigree. Lefevre is also the maternal grandsire of the Oldenburg 3 year old Champion dressage stallion Kaiser Karl. So you can see, we have a show jumping pedigree, which also produces youngsters with enough correct movement to be champion dressage horses too.

A superb stallion and competition prospect!

IN FOAL BROODMARE - INTERMEDIATE EVENTER

Eye Catcher (2001)
Oldenburg (Branded)

Sir Holtrup (Old)  Silvio I  (Old) / Sandro (Holst)
First Lady / Fiener Stern (Hann)
 Oferna  Harcos / Narcos II
 Ferna / Schalkhaar
Eye Catcher (Libby) is a beautiful mare who is also very talented.  She was on her way to being a very successful Eventer before injury cut short her already very promising career.  She progressed through the grades with Jodi Amos from Pre-Novice to 1* in just two seasons eventing accumulating 25 BE points along the way.   She had also been a successful Show Jumper prior to starting as an eventer.

Libby has the most wonderful easy and kind nature.  She has 3 fantastic elastic paces and good conformation.  Standing at 17hh she fills the eye and is altogether a very pleasing horse and very appropriately named!!

Her breeding boasts some very influential names such as Sir Holstrup, Silvio I and Sandro, sire of Sandro Hit on her sire side and the great Narcoss II on her dam line as well as many other great jumping horses.

Libby is an easy breeder and a fabulous caring mum. We sadly lost her own foal in 2013 (not her fault) and she happily adopted an orphan foal easily even though she was a maiden herself.  Sadly for sale due to downsizing - good long term home only please for this lovely looking and sweet natured mare.

Mia has been lunged, long reined, backed and lightly ridden and then turned away to mature further.   She is ready now to begin to further her ridden career or have a little more time to mature, whatever suits her purchaser.

Her dam, Lupina v. Kreidefels  is a graded Knabstrupper mare, 100% pure bred, who carries some of the old and well respected Classical Knabstrupper bloodlines as well as the Sport types.  Her first foal, a colt by Rubin Star N, had excellent marks in his assessment as a yearling by the KNN and was awarded an 8 Premium Grade. Lambada is another imported Danish mare.  Born in 2000, Lambada was put forward for her grading with the KNN in Denmark in August 2004 where she achieved an 8 (First Premium).   She is a big mare, now standing at over 170cm.

She is another fine example of the modern Sports type Knabstrupper with a huge trot and tremendous elevation.  She will most likely be competed in dressage or eventing when she continues with her ridden career.

Although a solid brown, Lambada will always produce coloured offspring when bred to our resident Knabstrupper stallion Nobody’s Harlequin.   Her type, conformation and paces are the ideal compliment to his and she was bought with this purpose in mind.   Her 2006 colt has been sold to a home where he will be produced for dressage.

Lambada has since then had two lovely near leopard fillies and in 2012 a bay blanket filly who is For Sale.

Click HERE for Lambada Lynghoj Progeny Page

Lambada is for sale at a very reasonable price to the right home as either a riding horse or a brood mare only because she is by the same fabulous sire as our new stallion and therefore does not fit within our current breeding program.  She was broken to ride and has taken part in several disciplines although not competitively as yet.  She is an active, forward going ride but, as you would expect, has the easy trainable temperament of the Knabstrupper. A super, easy mare - sad sale.
